I have an appointment with the salon on Friday and I'll ask them to deal with it. I think you're right about about it naturally fading soon anyway, but it's just such a difference from what I have now.
I always try hard NOT to draw attention to the changes in my hair lol
I might wash it more frequently at the beginning when I first start wearing it as well.
